Why Some Business Plan Fail

why some business plan fail
What’s some great advice for opening up a business?

I want to open one myself, a restaurant. I know they typically fail within the first year, but this is what I want and have set my mind to. I would plan out every detail too. I also don’t know the first thing about running a business so that’s why I’m taking some college classes about business and management this fall. Any advice?

Sober attitude.
Start small, control expenses, get out a good product, advertise, network. Be prepared to the possibility that the business may fail within the first 3 months even.
You’ll be doing all the work, be the first one to open the shop and the last one to leave, from the cleaning to the cooking, to the accounting, to the shopping. You won’t have many hours of sleep and NO DAYS OFF.
You have to get a license (pay) for everything and probably have to pay extra staff like cook, cook helpers, waiters. You will need to have a kitchen fully equipped and up to health and safety standards.
It can be a little dingy pizzeria in a poor neighborhood or a high end restaurant on main street, but the truth remains that restaurants are a very demanding business and that is why you need a sober attitude.

“Admirers of FDR credit his New Deal with restoring the American economy after the disastrous contraction of 1929—33.
