Sample Business Plan University

What are some sample majors (real or made up) that would describe the interdisciplinary major I’m considering?
I plan to work in the non-profit sector after I graduate. I’m currently a History, Government, and Philosophy with an Emphasis in Government major at my university, but I’m considering combining the courses I’ve taken already with some others to form a major that would suit better with my non-profit ambitions.
I’m looking for [major title] with an Emphasis in Government Relations, but I don’t know what [major title] should be. I’ll be studying the following areas in a sort of jack-of-all-trades way if I decide upon this ID major:
marketing
non-profit management
sales and sales management
human resource management
grant writing
business applications
organizational behavior
Right now, I’m considering Nonprofit Management with an Emphasis in Government Relations. Any other ideas?
You’re really describing an MBA with non-profit emphasis and an MPA (Master of Public Administration) – particularly the MPA.
“Nonprofit Management with an Emphasis in Government Relations” might be more simply put as “Public and Non-profit Management” which exists as a major at some schools.
It’s the “jack of all trades” comment that makes me think of the MBA – that’s exactly what an MBA is in the world of business management and includes much of the coursework you’ve listed with some more in accounting and finance as well.
