Business Plan Outline – Write a business plan in three steps
This is a document that anyone can read to understand where your business where it is hoped that in the future and what steps you plan to take to get there. Here's the basic scheme to follow when writing a business plan.
Step 1 – Define your business
The first part of your business plan includes a "who, what, when, where, why and how" your business. Specifically:
- Business Logistics: What type of business you are creating? What is its legal structure? Where he located?
- Your mission and objectives: Why are you in business? What is your mission and business goals?
- Your business goals: What are your business goals? What will you achieve in the next year? 5 years?
- It what you sell, what products and services you sell? What are you doing, in particular, that provides enough value that people will pay for your products and services?
- What resources you have, what resources you already have (money, time, personnel, suppliers, technology, people in your network your strengths and talents, opportunities, threats to your business)?
- Your organizational structure: How many people work in your business? Who is responsible for which role? Which position you must complete? With their salaries?
Step 2 – Create your marketing plan
The next part of your business plan is devoted to how to market your business. Especially Who would you target, why your company is uniquely qualified to serve those clients and customers and what marketing channels you use to reach prospects.
- Who You earn: What types of clients and customers you serve? Where can I find them? What is their most pain or problem that your product or service solve for them? How is your product or service to enrich the lives of your customers and clients?
- Who are your competitors: Who else serves your customers? What are their strengths and weaknesses? What are they doing to attract clients? How is their product or service better than yours? Since it is worse than yours?
- Why are you unique: What are your strengths and weaknesses? What makes you better than your competitors? Why should customers buy from you more than all the other choices they have? How do you explain that is you make to your prospects?
- Your marketing strategy: How do you sell your company to get new clients and customers? What marketing channels you use to achieve future prospects? How much did you spend? What aspects of your marketing plan you you do it internally? Externally?
Step 3 – List your financial
Finally, a list of your financial, including many you need to get your business up and running and the types of revenues and expenses, you project the short and long term.
- Your startup costs How much money have you need to start a business? How much you need to rent office space, supplies, distribution, furniture, marketing, etc.?
- Your income: As the moment, you make money? What products and services you sell most? What are the prices you charge?
- Your cost: What are your costs? How much money you have to be done every month to break even?
- Forecasts: How much money did you bring the project your business in 6 months? A year? Three years?
Observing these three steps, you will need to collect solid business plan covering the basics of any successful business.
