How much does a wedding planner to do in Kansas?
I want to go into business planning weddings, but people told me I never I will not do it because I live in the state of Kansas. So I try to find out how much I could get paid. Thank you.
Work is fun but the money sucks (my cousin lived in Kansas and she did little more than 30k one year (annually) as a wedding planner … which was not really alive, as soon as you pay bills, etc.) You better be in a career as an "event planner / coordinator," because you do the same kinda (except Plan other activities) and they make more money because the wedding often families and others. Events are normally "necessity" planner so you will have a lot more work to do means more money. My second cousin's brother did not in Kansas cause it made peanuts, so she moved to New York, and she now makes about 52K a year and she is always busy and love my job. She worked there for 2 years so I'm sure it started in a little less. If New York is too far for you to move I would like to propose you move somewhere closer that has multiple functions (for example, Nevada and Texas because they are not good $ there too).
