I want to become a fashion designer? It utah a good place?
okay, so right now im 13, and i want to do all i can to help me become a successful fashion designer, what can i do to help? How can i get started.
What high school courses to take and college courses?
Im going to utah so im wondering would utah be a good place for fashion design and open a business?
this is my plan:
to take sewing classes out of school ,and all fashion design class possible in high school, and college. In college i want to take fashion design and management, and marketing, then intern for a fashion designer, and open a boutique, if it is successful open another, and another…

That’s great that you have a set plan for yourself! Utah would be a good place if you plan on designing conservative clothing;however, if you want to design differently I would try schools in a big city like LA, Chicago, NY, Miami, etc.
You know you could even start selling clothes from your own home. Theres a site called ETSY.com that allows you to sell clothing, jewelry, painting, etc. Perhaps, finding a part time job that incorporates sewing or fashion would help you practice sewing.
