Business Plan Philosophy Statement

What exactly is a philosophy statement?

I need one for my massage business plan…

it’s a slightly grand way of saying what your approach is going to be – or your vision of what amassage business should involve. It is slightly open-ended – more about the kind of ploicies you expect to adopt in running the business. For example. If you think that Feng Shui principles would benefit your business – state that yoou will be inlcuding these – no need to be specific it is just general principles you are going for here. Perhaps youare influenced by Swedish massage – if so describe how you are going to incoproate it.

There are often various ways you can do the same thing – the idea of this statment is to explain why you are doing going about it in your particular way (you probably have very positive reasons). It is not a justification – no need to be defensive or apologetic about it – rather this is how you see massage so that’s how you intend to run your business.
