Business Plan Objectives

Business Plan?

My business plan expert asking me to fill this form. I am new to these terms. Please explain me these terms.

If you don’t understand these terms, i don’t think you should be going into business. If your paying your business ‘expert’ or if he/she is your mentor, ask them to explain. I notice that a SWOT isn’t in the list which is something that should be. I find these terms not easy to understand so this may be better if i give you the 10 points i think they are asking:

1. What is your business, what types of things do you do?
2. What do you want to achieve?
3. I am going to get what I want to achieve by…..?
4. Will the area in where you live be receptive to your business, your local target market etc.. This is where a SWOT would come in handy.
5. How much money/products etc do you need, and want to break even.
6. is the same as 5, but outline what you can and want to deliver, how will you get it, who will you need help from.
7. I think this deliverables requirement will need an action plan of when you need to met deadlines.
8. SWOT analysis would be useful here
9. List all the people you’ll need help from
10. Keep a list of all the useful books, websites and contacts you have.

PS, this is not a very good format to be drafting a business plan. Try checking out the web, or read a good book, better still, do a short biz course.
