Business Plan Music Studio

If your parents don’t support you, how would you make a demo CD and send it in?

If you’re legally a minor, and your parents don’t think you’re good enough to ever make it anywhere in show business, and are not willing to even let you try, how could you make a demo CD and send it into an agency? It’s not like I’ll never do anything with my life; I have a 3.8 GPA and plan to go to either OSU Med or Havard Med to become a neurosurgeon, but I do have talent. I took 4 years of voice lessons and can out sing anyone I’m put up to challenge. (Well, maybe not everyone… but mostly…. hehe) How can I record a demo CD? I do not know of any music studios anywhere near me; I live in Mansfield, Ohio. Thanks!

Honestly, it’s sounding like you’re going to have to do it secretly behind your parent’s backs…I’m not too sure how you feel about that, but when it comes to following your dreams and making the most of the gifts you’ve been giving, in this case your voice, you have to do whatever you feel is necessary to succeed…

I’d ask around, I’m sure there’s someone around you that either has a decent home studio or knows someone who does…You’d be surprised…
