Business Plan Mission

Where to start creating own business?
I want to eventually start my own skateboard company. I am only a 21 year old kid, but I have been skating for nearly seven years and love it to death. I know a lot of start up capital is needed. I am in school studying marketing/business type of material and will graduate this spring. Anyway, I have this idea to start my own company, but have no clue where to start. I guess I could start with the basics like a name, mission, business plan, etc. I have other interests besides this, like be a sports writer and want to possibly get a graduate degree in journalism. Anyway, I would love advice on where to start, and here others who have been in this situations.
Hello,
I’m 21 years old as well. I work at a restaurant right now and the money I make is alright, I have a kitchen manager position. I always wanted to actually own something, a small business that I could create as a back-up plan just in case I ever got fired from my job. I was looking to start a business with very little investment and I came across this lady that is a stay at home mom. She taught me how to make money working my own home based business and now I can see where this company is really going. If you would like to look at our opportunity, send me an email at: dbc214@yahoo.com
