What currency do they use in Oregon?

I am planning a business endevor in Oregon later this season. Does anyone know what currency they use? What is the conversion rate? I know most states use dollars but I know several dont like Texas, Alaska, and South Dakota. Also does anyone know if they have McDonalds there? Finally what are the people? What are their customs?
