Business Plan Kart Track
go kart related costs?
I was toying with the idea of starting a Go-Karting track (in the future) and was trying to plot out a business feasibility plan (location: Bangalore, India). In that regard, can any of you race enthusiasts/ track owners help me find the answers to the following:
1) What is the fuel efficiency of a go kart (7- 10 BHP, 80-125 CC, mostly rotax karts). would it be around 25 KM/liter, given that It’ll be used in a public track (i.e. rented to others, 8 hrs a dayX 7days))
2) How often do the tires last (how many Kms or days)
3) Do the engines behave like normal vehicle engines in terms of break downs, maintenance or do they have a much shorter life span
4) I’m assuming the fuel is petrol. Correct me if im wrong
5) Are there any other major costs involved (I mean only wrt the kart. Land costs, track design et all I don’t need for now)
