What experiences will help me get around counseling program guide?
I am currently in the specialty business management and 12 classes left before I get my bachelor. I also have 15 credits of classes in human services. I talked to my academic advisor at my college, she confirmed I will qualify for the Masters level program advice. I am concerned about the links I need that this third requirement. Today while I'm at work where there is NoFace to face. I plan to go directly to the master after I have finished undergraduate degree. What kinds of work expereince help my CV? I'm career change – I have a full-time day and 3 young children, volunteering is not an option. There are three tracks to this Program: School counseling, counseling community and higher education advice. I would consider all three, but wish to gain work experience before I make the final decision.
Most schools to set their own criteria for admission to their sites so you can start there. Most require a high GPA, letters of recommendation, and some work experience before entry, however, graduate school, when you get experience. Students from different educational and professional input gain background in counseling programs. During the interview, we are looking for students who have the characteristics to be effective consultants, and not necessarily that the experience they bring. Hope that helps.
