Business Plan Georgia

business plan georgia
business law question..please help!?

well this is the case…

Mrs. Toole bought a butterfly costume for her 5-year old daughter, Samantha. While dressed in the costume, Samantha tried to fly out of her bedroom window. She fell 2-stories, and suffered many injuries. Mrs. Toole plans to sue the costume manufacturer for negligent failure to warn under Georgia state law. In the lawsuit, Mrs. Toole is asking for more than $1 million in damages (mostly punitive). The costume manufacturer is incorporated in Delaware, and has its principal place of business in New York, but is qualified to do business in Georgia. Mrs. Toole and her daughter live in Georgia. In which court system – state or federal – can Mrs. Toole bring this lawsuit on behalf of her minor daughter? Explain, and explore all possibilities and state which court system(s) could hear this case

I think the state court could hear this case and also juvenille maybe since daughter is a minor ? please help!

It would not be in juvenile court because the suit is not being brought against a minor.

Research a bit more about when a case will be heard by the federal courts…
