Business Plan Funding Request

business plan funding request
is it possible to hire a professional to write my entire business plan for me?

I own a restaurant business and pretty much work from 8am-10pm every day 7 days a week. My bank has requested that i submit a business plan so that I can acquire additional funds (loan) to keep expand / keep things operating smoothly. I have sat down and tried to tackle this by getting books that provide outlines and also by using resources online. I am getting more and more confused and need to just hire someone who professionalizes in this sort of thing. Can any one recommend someone to me?

You certainly have an accountant who prepares your annual statements for filing income tax. He is qualified to prepare a business plan on your behalf. He knows what the bank is looking for. However, he is not going to sit in his office and dream of a business plan. If you give him the mandate to prepare the business plan, he will walk you through all the steps, and ask you all the required questions. It is YOU, who will have to give him your thoughts about how you plan to make your business grow and succeed. If he is at all qualified, he will show you your shortcomings, suggest some remedial actions, and orient you. However, ultimately, he is just putting on paper, in a format the bank expects and understand, your vision to built a successful business. Bank do not want to finance people with fuzzy ideas, unrealistic goals or expectations. Your accountant should be your transltaor of your vision into the hard numbers and clear ideas your bank expects to see.

There are other professionals who can do that too, but your accountant has the best feel of your business and will be able to help you. (I am not an accountant, don’t even like them, but they know a lot of things you and I don’t, things that your banker likes to hear)
Good luck.
