Business Plan Finance Template
What should I do?? HUGE ASSIGNMENT!!!?
Okay .. So I am a Junior In High School taking International Finance … my teacher gave us an assignment, that is our mid-term that is a business plan. It has to be a minimum of 15 pages.
I followed a template that he gave us with 31 pages. However 15 of the pages have information that I need to fill in about competition, lawyers, stock, capitol, and all that stuff… but I have a small web design company and we don’t have any of that!!!
How can I get the additional 5 pages to meet the requirements? I only have 10!
Would it be smart to email the teacher and tell him that I only have 10 pages?
Competition: Sure you have competition! There are tons of web design companies out there competing for the same customers you want to get. You can find local ones in your phone book, the yellow pages. You can google web design companies online.
Lawyers: Is your web design company a partnership? A corporation? You might use a lawyer to set up your business as an entity. You might consult them to trademark your logo and company name, etc.
Stock: If your company is a corporation, you issue stock to the owners, even if it’s not going to be publicly traded. How much will you issue? What is its value? (Value should equal the assets.)
Capital (spell it this way): You have to have some startup money. You need money for Internet service, a bank account, business cards, ads, computers, etc.
If some of the things really don’t apply, then list the thing and write: “Not applicable” by it, and say why.
