The best way to approach the person ranges / writing sample?

I will attend San – Diego Comic Con next month, and I really looking forward to it. Anyway, this year's theme focuses on the writers. I plan to take some samples of Writing with me and post some of my work in my blog and we-page book. I've also made a few business cards last fall that I printed and handed OUT. For me, when I meet someone new I was shy and nervous at first but I warm Once I talked for a while. Basically, I'm looking to move work but I do not want to seem pushy. With regard to written assignments I write it mostly fiction but I'm working on two scenarios, a pilot for the cartoon and animated films as well as memoirs and movie reviews. But I could could use some help on this. Any suggestions?
