How do I attract clients to my wedding and event planning business?

I am listed in YellowPages.com.
Your best source for new clients is your past and present clients. It’s amazing how easily businesses overlook this. So, how do you get them to refer you to their friends, neighbors, & business associates?
You use what I call the Joe Girard action plan. Joe started selling cars in the 70s with absolutely no experience. Over time he went on to achieve the record in the Guinness Book of World Records as the Greatest Car Salesman in the World! How did Joe do this?
Joe made a habit of sending personalized handwritten greeting cards to every one he met… and not just once, but every holiday, birthday, & anniversary. At one point he had two full time staff members who did nothing but send out these cards – over 13,000 cards a month!
Today, anyone can easily follow Joe’s lead, and our company even let’s you put it on automatic with over 12,000 cards to choose from. We print it, stuff it in an envelop, and put a real stamp on it before dropping it in the mail.
