Excuse Me! Do I Know You and Trust You? Why Should I be Your Partner and Join Your Network Marketing Business?

Over the past couple decades, people have changed many things about the ways they do business.  Twenty years ago there were no computers and no cell phones, and only half of all households even had answering machines.

What was the key to success for home-based business opportunities?  People stayed connected to the ventures they explored because they established unique relationships with their sponsors and other associates.

Home-based business opportunities were marketed in very different ways. Sponsors advertised in the newspapers when they planned to hold presentations in hotel conference rooms around the country.  The associates that were recruited attended follow-up meetings held sometimes at hotels but often in people’s homes.  The important thing was that the meetings were regular and they kept people in the loop.

The introduction of the computer into people’s lives has been deemed the most significant event of the twentieth century.  Today’s technologies have built a fast-forward button into the ways that people communicate.  They can sit in the privacy of their homes and research endless prospects on the internet.  But how does someone know which ones to choose?  The computer doesn’t provide the benefits of personal cohesiveness that create trust, reliability, and camaraderie between people!

For men and women who seek to establish a home-based business, positive communication links are the first things they should look for in a sponsor.  A commitment to establishing rapport indicates that a sponsor will serve as a mentor, a trainer, and a coach.

If sponsors or distributors bring those qualities to the table, then their associates will become more devoted to their own efforts.  They will maintain the focus it takes to bring efforts to fruition.  This is more important today than ten years ago because new technologies have altered the potentials for multi-layer marketing (MLM) approaches.

An effective sponsor will be eager to teach the qualities necessary for success in MLM ventures.  They know that their associates’ success is vital to their own success.  There are basics that can be taught; associates have to choose their niche carefully and exercise patience.  They have to formulate a business plan that works for them and then stick to it.  Qualities such as determination, ingenuity, and commitment are important.  But there’s something more they need!

Associates have the right to expect effective leadership from their sponsors!  Sponsors have an obligation to cultivate qualities that will contribute to a culture of success.   They need to be available through online services such as topical articles, by answering email questions, providing targeted newsletters and relevant updates, and even being reached by phone.  Otherwise an associate will lose focus and move on to another venture, and those are the kinds of distractions that cause associates to fail time after time!

Sponsors have a responsibility to establish quality relationships with their associates early in the MLM relationship.  You need a sponsor who is willing to make that commitment to diligence so that you can learn what you need to succeed!  You need a sponsor who provides that spark of creativity, someone who will cement a relationship with you so that both of you move forward into a new and beneficial level of achievement!
