Business Plan Assumptions

business plan assumptions
How do I write a business plan for a law firm?

For a class project, I have to write the financial portion of a business plan for a law firm that advises media outlets of their First Amendment freedoms and limitations. I haven’t the first clue about business, I haven’t found much free help online. Here’s what I need to know:

1. How much could a new law firm expect to make in the first five years?

2. What assumptions will we have to consider?

3. How much can we expect to spend on payroll (we have six “lawyers”), advertising, marketing, etc.?

4. What are the key financial indicators?

5. How do I do a break-even analysis?

6. How much should we charge for consultations?

Any help is greatly appreciated!
