BOY, Am I In Trouble Now!?

My neighbor called this A.M. and asked ,; ” Are you going to the store today?”
I said :”No- I did my shopping yesterday”
Then ..She said her back door would not shut and she needed to go to the hardware store to buy something to fix it. She could not wait until Kevin (husband) got home
I said, ” Why don’t you take your truck?”
she explained that the truck still ( 6 months now ) needed brakes and battery and she could not ‘afford it”
I said” Maybe you should have spent money on truck repairs instead on the new laptop computer”
She got mad, yelled at me to mind my own business- then we went on to talk about New Years Day plans.
Meanwhile, my husband, W, went over to successfully fix her door.
While there, she reeled into him furious about me telling her how to spend money.
W came home furious with me for expressing my opinion, and why cannot I keep my mouth shut.
Now our daughter is mad at me, too, and we will have no Happy New Years Day.
What to do now?

Every one has their right to an opinion, but these opinins shouldnt always be expressed. Especially a negative one, towards the person you are critisizing. Admit your mistake to your family and your neighbor.Yove got to get right with her. as for new years, tell your daughter and husband yall should still have a good new year day, what you said t her doesnt matter.
